What to do if your OnlyFans content is leaked
Anyone can record their phone screen and upload what they see to another site. No platform and no agency can prevent it completely. What you can do is make it harder, find out early and get it taken down.
Before it happens
Turn on the OnlyFans watermark, which puts your username on photos and videos. If you want to go a step further, add your own in a spot that is hard to crop out without ruining the image. It does not stop people copying you, but leaked content carries your name and it is easier to prove it is yours.
Keep your originals with their dates too. If you ever have to file a claim, they prove the content is yours and that you published it first.
And think about what does the most harm in a leak, which is being identified. Backgrounds, reflections, tattoos and the location saved in your photos. The full list is in our article on faceless accounts, and it applies even if you do show your face.
How to find out
Search for your content every so often. With Google Lens or TinEye you can upload a few of your photos and see where they appear. Also search for your stage name and username together with words like "leak" or "leaked". And do not underestimate your fans: the most loyal ones often let you know when they see something of yours where it should not be.
When you find it
- Keep evidence: the exact address of each page and a dated screenshot.
- Send a DMCA takedown request to the site. Most have a form or an email address for copyright notices. Explain which content is yours, where it is and where you originally published it.
- If the site does not answer, write to the company that hosts it.
- Ask Google to remove those pages from its results using its copyright removal form. Even if the page still exists, it will be much harder to find.
- Search again a few days later, because the same content tends to jump from one site to another.
Do not talk to or argue with whoever uploaded your content. It rarely helps and can make things worse. If someone threatens you or identifies you publicly, keep all the evidence and get legal advice.
What to expect
Many sites remove content when they receive a well-made request. Others take their time, and some never answer, especially those hosted in countries where these claims carry little weight. That is why searching has to be regular and why the Google removal is so useful. And it is why we would be wary of anyone who promises your content will never appear anywhere.
